How much does a transport with MD Transporte cost?
The price mainly depends on distance, vehicle size, weight or volume of the cargo and the requested date. After your request you receive a binding fixed-price quote with all items listed transparently – no hidden surcharges.
How quickly can you take on a transport?
For express runs, collection is often possible on the same day, depending on availability. For plannable transports we recommend requesting a few days in advance to secure your preferred vehicle and date.
Which vehicle do I need for my cargo?
As a rule of thumb: up to 4 Euro pallets fit in a 3.5 t van, up to 8 in a 3.5 t box truck, up to 15 in a 7.5 t truck and up to 33 in a 40 t articulated truck. Use our pallet calculator in the fleet section – or just ask us, we advise you free of charge.
Is my cargo insured during transport?
Yes. As a carrier we are liable under the German Commercial Code (HGB, sections 407 et seq.) and under the CMR Convention for cross-border transport. Statutory liability is generally limited to 8.33 special drawing rights per kilogram. For particularly valuable goods we can arrange additional cargo insurance on request.
Do you also drive abroad?
Yes. In addition to transports throughout Germany we drive to all countries of the European Union. Transports to Switzerland, Norway or the United Kingdom are possible on request.
Do you help with loading and unloading?
Gladly. Our vehicles with tail lift make loading heavy goods easier. On request we provide additional helpers for carrying and loading – for example for furniture transports and removals.
Do you work for private customers too?
Yes. We transport for private customers as well as for trades, retailers and industrial companies – from a single piece of furniture to a complete truck load.
What information do you need for a quote?
The quickest way is: collection and delivery address (at least postcode and city), preferred date, type of cargo, approximate dimensions and weight or number of pallets, and special requirements such as tail lift, carrying help or fixed time slots.
