Protecting your personal data is important to us. This website is deliberately designed to collect as little data as possible: we use no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising cookies, no social media plugins and embed no third-party content. Fonts, images and videos are loaded exclusively from our own server.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
MD Transporte, Owner: [First name Last name][Street and number], [Postcode] [City], Germany
Phone: [Phone number] · E-mail: info@md-transporte.com
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by [name and address of the hosting provider]. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.
When you visit the website, the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser (server log files):
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
- browser and operating system used
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation, stability and security of the website. Log files are deleted after no more than [7–14] days unless longer retention is required to investigate a security incident.
3. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
4. Contact form and contact by e-mail
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, e-mail address, phone number, collection and delivery location, date and cargo details) in order to handle your request and prepare a quote.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries effectively (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Form data is sent to us by e-mail and is not stored in a database on the web server. We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required. If an order is placed, statutory retention periods apply (in particular under commercial and tax law, generally 6 or 10 years).
5. Local storage in your browser (cookies)
This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. We only store your choice regarding the privacy notice in your browser's local storage so that the notice does not reappear on every page. This storage is strictly necessary and is based on Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Details can be found in our cookie policy.
6. Fonts and media
The fonts used on this website (Inter, Archivo) as well as all images and the background video are stored locally on our server. No connection to Google or other third-party servers is made when you visit the website.

8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is: [state data protection authority].
